Case Studies
When organisations face critical moments, the challenge isn't just external messaging - it's internal alignment, decision-making under pressure, and understanding what's actually driving the conversation.
Broadwick
Post-Crisis Restoration &
Internal Realignment
"Angie brought clarity, calm and strategic insight at a pivotal moment. Her ability to navigate complex dynamics with sensitivity and confidence had a genuinely positive impact and outcome. She was a trusted presence, and the value of her work was felt beyond the immediate brief."
— BROADWICK
Broadwick, an international venue operator, had emerged from a serious security incident three months prior. New procedures had been implemented, but customer experience was suffering, internal communication had stalled, and the senior leadership team wasn't aligned.
The challenge: They needed to move from crisis mode to operational strength - rebuilding trust internally and externally while preparing for their season relaunch.
What we did: I started by listening. I took the time to nderstand team dynamics and what lay beneath the surface issues. Then we shifted focus to the future: where they actually wanted to be, what needed to happen to get there. We defined their brand values (giving leadership a framework for faster, clearer decisions), worked through restructuring, and prepared them for various scenarios. Communication restarted - both internally and with their audience.
What shifted: Simplified decision-making. Internal alignment. External communication restored. The team moved from reactive to strategic.
Corsica Studios
Managing Closure Under Public Pressure
"Angie stepped into an incredibly high-pressure situation and immediately brought calm and clarity. She helped us regain control of our narrative when we thought we'd lost it. Her approach wasn't just about managing the media - she understood what mattered to us as an organisation and made sure that came through. The result was transformative."
— CORSICA STUDIOS
Corsica Studios, an iconic independent venue in South London, was closing. I was brought in to manage the announcement - but the story leaked before we were ready. We had three days to deliver three weeks of work.
The challenge: The leak robbed them of narrative control. Media was already reporting, some inaccurately. The team was reeling.
What we did: We didn't panic. We took the time to craft the announcement they wanted to make - honest, complete, on their terms. We coordinated a Guardian feature to roll out simultaneously, amplifying their message with credibility and weight.
What shifted: They regained complete control. What began as a crisis became a powerful story that opened doors for future opportunities and brought them far more breathing space than a standard closure would have.
Artist-Led Platform (Confidential)
Navigating Stakeholder Conflict & Public Pressure
"Angie has a rare ability to step into chaos and create structure. She didn't just help us manage the external pressure - she fundamentally shifted how our leadership team worked together. She brought emotional intelligence and strategic clarity we didn't know we needed. We came out of this stronger, more aligned, and genuinely better equipped for whatever comes next."
— ARTIST-LED PLATFORM
An artist-led platform championing South Asian expression found itself caught in an intense boycott campaign tied to a major partnership. They were receiving daily pressure, including threats. The team was split on how to move forward - honour years of work and artist opportunities, or align with their pro-Palestine values and withdraw.
The challenge: Paralysis. They couldn't communicate publicly, which stalled all their projects. Internal tension was high. Everyone had compelling arguments for both sides.
What we did: I reframed the situation - this happened to them, not because of them. We shifted focus to their future: what they wanted to be a year from now. We addressed worst-case scenarios, reduced the background noise, and clarified their true values. Then we made decisions based on those values, not on fear. I also worked to strengthen internal support structures - ensuring no one carried difficult decisions alone.
What shifted: Future-focused clarity. Internal alignment. A supportive culture that outlasted the project. They moved from paralysis to action.
